ALL that dies

One Channel Video Installation, 2016

All That Dies is a video portrait of my first straight razor shave. The camera stays fixed on my face and shoulders as a barber’s hands apply shaving cream and scrape my neck with a razor. The playful exchange between protagonist reaching for a sense of control and antagonist snatching it away, hits at the humorous side of anxiety.
